Youth Activity Census

As the national body for youth work in England, NYA is undertaking a National Youth Sector Census and out of school activities for young people. This is the first time such an ambitious project has been attempted, and its success is crucial. More than any survey, the Census will provide essential information to plan, invest in and support the youth sector. The more responses we get, the better the case we can make for funding, resources and support for young people, used by funders, commissioners, providers and policy makers.

As we look to the post-Covid recovery and the government’s 3-year spending review, we want to hear from all organisations in England that deliver or support youth work and related out of school activities to young people.

We have identified thousands of organisations using the Charity Commission Register. If your organisation is on that, please search using your organisation name in the search below to see whether we have your organisation currently included. If you are included, we will be in touch shortly to explain the survey in more detail.

If your organisation is either not on the Charity Commission Register or is not listed, please fill in the form below and we will ensure that you’re included when we deliver the survey. We want to hear from all parts of the youth sector.

If your organisation has multiple units which are responsible for delivering services, please ensure that each unit is signed up too.

Further guidance and information on the survey will come in the following weeks.

Please note due to the large number of records this form may take a few seconds to load/respond.
