Working Together is a charity supporting people with learning disabilities. We offer supportive opportunities for adults and young people age 11+ and promote the positive role people with learning disabilities can play in the local community.
We are seeking an experienced professional to take our charity forward, to develop its long term sustainable future and create a positive environment where our members, existing and new, can thrive and flourish.
The Development Manager will be our Chief Officer, in charge of all operations – including providing effective leadership, direction and management; building strong working relationships with our members, parents and carers; developing partnerships and building links with stakeholders and referral agencies; maximising fundraising and volunteering opportunities; reporting to the Board of Trustees on how we are meeting the needs of our members and our charitable objectives; and delivering the Forward Plan.

We are a small charity with big ambitions and we need someone able to lead whilst also willing and able to get stuck in and do whatever needs doing, whenever it needs doing to ensure a high quality service to our members.
