Shropshire Safeguarding Boards’ Exploitation Conference
Thursday 8th November
Members of Shropshire VCS Assembly are invited to attend Shropshire Safeguarding Boards’ Exploitation Conference on Thursday 8th November at Shrewsbury Town Football Club, Montgomery Waters Meadow, Oteley Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6ST. Due to limited spaces 15-19 VCSA members are able to attend. Places are filling up quickly so if you are interested in attending please email as soon as possible.

Community Foundation Grant Schemes for Shropshire
Two grant schemes are available for VCS organisations across Shropshire. The schemes are delivered by Staffordshire Community Foundation.

  • #iWill is a programme supporting youth led projects, awarding grants up to £1000 to £5000 encouraging Youth Social Action. The first round has recently closed but a second round closes in December. Find out more here:
  • The Tampon Tax Community Fund is a programme awarding grants for organisations who support women and girls. Grants of between £5000 and £10,000 are available for up to 12 months. Closes 5th November. Find out more here:

Shropshire Disability Network Auction
On Saturday 20th October, SDN will be holding an Auction at Radbrook Community Centre, Calverton Way, Shrewsbury SY3 6DJ. You will be able to browse from 5 pm-6pm. The Auction starts at 6 pm. Refreshments will be available.
