The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) 2019-2021 Opt-in programme part-funded by European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-20 will make around £15m ESF available across the Marches – £10.7m in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin – to support employment and skills and social inclusion projects.
The Invitations to tender are in place to support the following priorities:
- Support for young people aged 15-24 not in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET (Investment Priority 1.2)
- Management of a Community Grant Scheme (Investment Priority 1.4)
- Skills support for the workforce and people facing redundancy (Investment Priority 2.1)
