Funding Doubled for New Early Intervention Youth Fund

Launched by Home Secretary Sajid Javid on the 30 July the new £22 million Early Intervention Youth Fund will support communities in tackling serious violence by engaging in early intervention and prevention programmes with young people. Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) in England and Wales are eligible to apply as lead bidders. PCCs must work with Community Safety Partnerships (or similar local partnerships).
