National Countryside Week – Starts Today

National Countryside Week, The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s annual celebration of rural life, starts today -Monday the 30th of July.

To mark the occasion The Prince’s Countryside Fund and Professor Sarah Skerratt of Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) have published some new research named ‘Recharging Rural’.

Recharging Rural takes a hard look at the experiences of people living in the UK’s most rural areas. The research looks into what can make rural communities in the UK sustainable, in spite of the adversities they face.

You can access a copy of the report here.
