The Building Health Partnerships (BHP) Self care programme may be of interest if you want to know more about how Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs) are working with the voluntary sector and local people to design health and care services; how self care is perceived at a local level or if you want to know where to start with setting up partnership working.
This briefing, produced by the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) explores the work and findings of IVAR and Social Enterprise UK (SEUK), facilitating collaboration between local people, the VCSE sector and STPs.
Warm homes, affordable fuel and healthy people
Living in cold homes puts people’s health at risk. Citizens Advice is working to tackle fuel poverty and has developed two toolkits with Cornwall Council, one for Local Authorities, which can be accessed here and another for Health Professionals, which can be accessed here.
Citizens Advice has also published a blog to describe the results of a pilot project, when seven local Citizens Advice tested a new referral service for vulnerable households. You can read this here.
