Book Your Place – Shropshire VCSA Networking Event

All VCSA Members, stakeholders and partners are invited to attend a networking event at 5pm till 6:30pm on the 22nd November 2017 at the Shrewsbury Baptist Church, Claremont Street, Shrewsbury SY1 1QG.

At the 2017 VCSA Annual Assembly, VCSA Members asked for more opportunities for networking and to be more involved with the work of the Shropshire Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly. So far this year we have arranged events to discuss Welfare Reform and Social Prescribing and a training session on GDPR but the VCSA Board thought it would be a good idea to host an event which specifically focuses on the work of the Assembly.    The event will take place in a “World Café” style, an informal method which allows a creative and comfortable environment for thinking and listening – if you’ve never tried this before, come along to find out more!

The topics of conversation have been drawn from your feedback at the Annual Assembly 2017 and there will be opportunities to discuss

  • VCSA Membership – involving and representing small groups and organisations
  • Current topics and issues such as Welfare Reform and Prevention
  • Leadership within the sector
  • Promoting the VCSA – strengthening the voice of the sector

Alongside these discussions there will be lots of networking.

Reserve your place via vcsassembly@shropshire.gov.uk.  The cost per attendee is £2.50 to cover a drink and some nibbles and this will be payable on the door.  Please help us make this event a success so we are able to host more in the future! We looking forward to seeing you there!
