Draft Strategy For Economic Growth

Growing the economy in Shropshire and ensuring its resilience is a key priority for the success of the County now and in the future. As part of establishing the foundations for how we can work together to achieve this Shropshire Council has been developing the draft Economic Growth Strategy for Shropshire 2017-21. The draft Strategy and supporting information can now be accessed on the consultation page of the Council’s website. The supporting information includes the commissioned work with IPPR North, which is available on the website.

The consultation runs until Friday 28th April 2017.

Full details of how to respond are on the web page and this includes a short survey with questions relating to each of the priority actions.

Shropshire Council is keen to encourage input from all communities, businesses and organisations by completing the survey or emailing bigconversation@shropshire.gov.uk with comments. Your comments and feedback on the draft Strategy will be used to inform its development and the action plans that will be developed to deliver it.
