Programmes and Projects Manager (Maternity Cover)
HMM Arts Ltd (The Hive) is an independent, registered charity based in Shrewsbury town centre, working across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and the sub-region.

We deliver social impact through arts & creative activities & projects, with a special focus working with those in challenging circumstances, including children & young people, as well as operate a vibrant arts centre.

The Hive is looking for a Programmes & Projects Manager (Maternity Cover) with professional experience in developing, managing, evaluating and funding creative projects, working across a wide network of project partners. The role also includes fundraising for the projects as well as contributing to the business development of the Hive, including venue programming & offer. The post holder is also expected to develop further opportunities and provide guidance for project participants in terms of volunteering, education, personal development and/or employment opportunities.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and the post holder will have a fixed term contract for a minimum of 9 months. The salary is £23,500 pa pro rata with a holiday allowance of 21 days plus Bank Holidays pro rata.

Sales and Events Intern (Paid)

HMM Arts Ltd (The Hive) is an independent, registered charity based in Shrewsbury town centre, working across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and the sub-region.

We deliver social impact through arts & creative activities & projects, with a special focus working with those in challenging circumstances, including children & young people, as well as operate an arts centre.

The Hive is now looking for a Sales & Events Intern (paid) to assist in all sales & events activity of the charity. This would include assisting in any sales/income generation activity linked to its venue operations. In addition to this, the role also involves assisting in all aspects of events/project delivery for project work, including administration, marketing and assisting in development, delivery and evaluation of events/projects.

We are looking for a great young talent to join our friendly team for 6 months, starting 28th March 2016. The Intern is expected to work 30 hours per week and will be paid the National Minimum Wage. They are also entitled to the statutory holiday and other employment benefits, in addition to getting valuable experience.

This paid internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme. The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector. Please note that there are certain criteria you must meet in order to be eligible to apply for a Creative Employment Programme funded internship. At the time of applying you must be aged 18 to 24 years old and you must be registered as unemployed with Jobcentre Plus. These eligibility criteria have been approved by the Department of Work and Pensions.

Volunteering Opportunity: Carillion Defence and Security are a national organisation.

Based at their Wolverhampton office they have a number of staff who are looking for volunteering opportunities locally here in Shropshire and Telford where they can support community groups and/or local charities as part of their wider corporate social responsibility.

The Offer:
Carillion are able to provide 8 volunteers (staff) to undertake some manual labour volunteering, i.e. painting/decorating (ideally indoors until weather gets better!) or more outdoors volunteering i.e. gardening/shrub clearing etc once the weather improves. The charity/community group would need to supply their own materials.
